Waiting in long airport lines is a thing of the past
This week: Find out how different your trip to Jamaica would be if you could skip airport lines + MORE
Hey friend! What’s up, Wah gwaan!
When you thought about your vacation to Jamaica, you probably were thinking about the clear blue ocean, soaking up the sun, going on a boat ride, climbing a waterfall — and all the other stuff that makes a vacation great right? After all, that’s what we all picture our vacation to be like. Our brain is wired to daydream about the stuff that makes us feel good, get excited and look forward to an amazing experience.
Alright… this is where I kinda break you away from your dream for just a little bit.😬 Don’t shoot the messenger now, I’m only here to help you make your experience even better. I promise you’ll thank me later. 😉
I know it’s hectic traveling from one place to the next, and your dream vacation can quickly turn into a bit of a nightmare if you don’t know how to escape the nuisances of traveling. Jamaica is no different. Jamaica is the most popular destination in the Caribbean—receiving a little over 2.4 million stopover arrivals in 2022 — and we’re on track to surpass the total stopover from last year.
Okay, enough with the numbers — you’re getting the picture right? If you haven’t been to Jamaica yet, I’m sure you can imagine what our airports are like. And if you’ve visited Jamaica before, I know you know all too well what the airports are like. Jam-packed is the word for the day! Everybody and their momma takes a vacay in Jamaica. So your Jamaican best friend is here to help you out with this one.
C5 Immigration Form
A lot of people don’t know about this yet, but you can save yourself some time with the Immigration & Customs process. It’s as simple as filling out the Immigration Form before you get to Jamaica. This can be done even a week before you arrive on the island at no cost to you! 😁
Go to enterjamaica.com
Enter your email address
Receive a one time verification code
Complete a form for each passenger
Submit form/s
Note: This has become mandatory since September 1, 2023.
After you’ve submitted the form, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Now all you have to do when you get to the Immigration section at the airport is — let the officer know you submitted the C5 entry form online and present your passport. They’ll use your passport number to pull up your info on the screen. No more waiting on your airline to issue a paper form to fill out on your way to Jamaica or when you’re waiting in the Immigration & Customs line….
Speaking of waiting in line, how about you just skip this line altogether? 🤔 Yes! That’s an option. This will save you hours at the airport.
Club Mobay / Club Kingston
Club Mobay / Kingston is a VIP Airport Service that’s located at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. We all know the Immigration line (especially at the airport in Montego Bay) is not for the weak. Pun intended. Hours of your vacay time can be wasted in this line and that’s where the VIP airport service comes in.
When you get the VIP arrival service — a representative will meet you upon getting off the plane with a warm Jamaican welcome and fast track you through Immigration & Customs. You’ll then be taken to the private VIP lounge where you can relax, grab snacks & beverages while you wait for your transportation to take you to your hotel/resort. There are more amenities like a private restroom, even a shower! And much more.
This has been a game-changer for many visitors traveling to and from Jamaica. It has been in such high demand that there has been a new lounge that was recently added at the Montego Bay airport to accommodate more visitors. You can get this service for arrival and departure.
Note: We recommend you book this service as soon as you confirm your flight details to secure a reservation. If you try to book last minute, I can guarantee there will be no availability. Yes, that’s how fast this service gets booked out.
